Military Sunday

As a way to demonstrate our appreciation to our Nation’s military, we offer free admission to all military personnel (former, veteran, current) and their families on the 3rd Sunday of each month.  Free admission includes unlimited use of the audio tours.

Chautauqua Learning Series

The Chautauqua Learning Series is a free program to the public supported through a grant from the Abilene Cultural Affairs Council, The City of Abilene, and the Texas Commission on the Arts.   Listen and participate in these programs on the 2nd Saturday of each month at the Village.

Comanche Moon Social

The Buffalo Gap Historic Village’s annual fundraiser takes place at the Perini Ranch on the first Saturday in October.  BGHV members receive discounted ticket prices for this event.

Group Rate

Planning to visit the Village with a group of 15 or more friends/family?  Provide the Buffalo Gap Historic Village with at least 24 hours notice that you are coming and we’ll not only plan a personalized orientation to the site by one of our educators, but we’ll also give you a discounted rate of $5 per person!
